President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis received Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Swiss Confederation Hanum İbrahimova during the official New Year reception held in Bern for the Diplomatic Corps on behalf of the President of the Swiss Confederation.

In her conversation with the Swiss President, Ambassador Hanum İbrahimova conveyed New Year greetings and wishes by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to him, and congratulated President Alain Berset on his election as the President of the Swiss Confederation.

Thanking the Azerbaijani President for his greetings and wishes, President Alain Berset requested to deliver his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
